On Sunday, 30th Jumadi al-Akhira 1447 AH, corresponding to 30th Qaws 1404 .

 The Minister of MOHIA, respected Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib, during this visit, met with the Governor of Jowzjan province, respected Qari Gul Haidar Shafaq, officials from the Ministry of MOHIA, the Council of Scholars, and several other department heads. He visited the shrine of the martyrs in Dasht-e-Leili and inaugurated and assessed several newly constructed mosques of the ministry.

In these meetings, the honorable minister closely examined the general situation of Jowzjan province and emphasized the importance of ensuring the welfare of the people, addressing their problems, and providing timely and quality religious and administrative services.

Additionally, the honorable minister, accompanied by the esteemed governor of Jowzjan province and several other officials, visited the shrines of the martyrs in Dasht-e-Leili and prayed for their pure souls, seeking forgiveness, elevation of ranks, and eternal peace for them. He regarded their martyrdom and the pure blood that was shed as a result of oppression and coercion as one of the foundations for the stability of the Islamic system and described it as unforgettable.

The minister also inspected the wall surrounding the shrine of the martyrs in Dasht-e-Leili, which is managed by the Ministry of MOHIA, as well as the constructed mosque and other related facilities. He issued necessary directives to the relevant authorities regarding increased attention to these sites.

Similarly, the minister inaugurated a mosque in the courtyard of the Council of Scholars' office in this province, which was built at a cost of three million five hundred eighty-nine thousand two hundred forty (3,589,240) Afghanis from the ministry's development budget and has a capacity of 220 worshippers at one time.

In his speech, he stated that since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate until now, 220 mosque prayer niches have been built from the development and endowment budget of the ministry across the country, most of which are open for performing the five daily prayers and Friday prayers for the people, with several others to be inaugurated in the near future.

The minister emphasized not only on the material and physical construction of mosques but also on their spiritual development. He instructed scholars and imams to utilize mosque pulpits to educate people on religious rulings, jurisprudential issues, interpretation, and hadiths, strengthening this process for the healthy education and upbringing of the younger generation. He added that relations between the people and the Islamic Emirate should be strengthened further, and more efforts should be made to solidify the Islamic system.
