The Minister of MOHIA inaugurated a large commercial market in Nangarhar province

Sheikh al-Hadith, Dr. Mufti Noor Mohammad Saqib the Minister of MOHIA, along with their accompanying delegation, inaugurated an endowment commercial market in Jalalabad city during their visit to Nangarhar province.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of MOHIA, the Deputy Governor of Nangarhar, several central officials from the Ministry of MOHIA, heads of various departments in Nangarhar province, as well as a large number of esteemed scholars and traders.

The session began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. First, Mawlawi Hamdullah Akhundzada, the General Director of Endowments, provided comprehensive explanations regarding the construction of the market from the endowment budget of the Ministry of MOHIA.

Subsequently, the Minister of MOHIA delivered an insightful and comprehensive speech to the attendees, stating that this market creates new economic opportunities for the people and traders of Nangarhar province and will have a positive impact on the economy of the city.

Mr. Saqib expressed gratitude that all officials and members of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are continuously striving for the development and prosperity of the country to ensure we have a prosperous, peaceful, and advanced nation. He mentioned that our ministry is utilizing such economic projects across various provinces for effective use of endowment properties and increasing their revenues, keeping in mind the benefit of local residents, and today we see a good example of this here.

Similarly, the Deputy Governor of Nangarhar also spoke at this meeting, expressing satisfaction and appreciation for the launch of public welfare projects by the Ministry of MOHIA .

He added that now security has been established throughout the country with Allahs’ help, similar commercial markets should be constructed in other provinces to create job opportunities for our compatriots.

It is noteworthy that this commercial market is located in the first district of Jalalabad city next to the Directorate of MOHIA of Nangarhar. This market has been constructed on a 1,200 square meter endowment land at a cost of 68,375,040 Afghanis from the endowment budget of the Ministry in a solid and fundamental manner in a modern and standard design across three floors. It features 23 large shops, 7 halls, and 23 equipped residential rooms. The annual revenue from this market is estimated to be 6,660,000 Afghanis
