The Ministry of MOHIA of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, which had started the new registration process for Hajj applicants for the year 1446 AH (2025 AD) in Kabul and all provinces a while ago, today officially launched the lottery process in Kabul and all provinces during a special session.

A meeting was held in Kabul, including other provinces, at the Hajj Complex for this purpose, where the professional deputy of the Ministry of MOHIA, the heads of the central departments, members of the internal Hajj committee, and several new Hajj applicants participated.

The meeting began with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Qur'an, followed by a speech from Sheikh al-Hadith, Maulavi Zarmuhammad Haqqani, the professional deputy of the Ministry of MOHIA, who spoke about the Hajj lottery and added that the registration process had started some time ago in the center and all provinces, and today the lottery would take place in the presence of some new Hajj applicants and their representatives.

He stated that a total of 105,180 new applicants had registered across the country, and the lottery process would begin today in Kabul and all provinces, with the presence of the relevant officials from the MOHIA departments of the provinces.

The lottery box was opened by the Deputy Minister of MOHIA at the end of the meeting, and this process officially began in Kabul and across the country, with the lottery process concluding by the end of the day in all provinces.
