Under the leadership of the Minister of MOHIA , a top-ranking delegation of religious scholars traveled to Uzbekistan

"On Saturday, 6th of Ramadan 1445, corresponding to 26th of March 2024, a delegation of ten high-ranking religious scholars led by Shaikhul hadith Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib Minister of MOHIA, upon the official invitation of the Grand Mufti Sheikh Noor al-Din Khalq Nazar, the head of the Muslim Affairs Department of Uzbekistan, traveled to Uzbekistan today to strengthen bilateral relations, cooperation, and coordination in the religious and educational sectors of the two countries.

During this visit, the esteemed delegation of scholars is expected to visit religious and Islamic centers in Tashkent, Bukhara, and Samarkand and engage with officials of Islamic institutions in Uzbekistan on various topics, including:

- Strengthening and expanding relations and close cooperation with the Islamic Emirate, especially the Ministry MOHIA
- Developing and improving relations between the scholars of the two countries (Afghanistan and Uzbekistan)
- Cooperation, coordination, and exchange of experiences in the field of mosques and schools
- Acquiring information in the field of Islamic miniature painting for potential exchange of experiences with other relevant sectors.

It is mentioned that Uzbekistan has religious and educational centers in the cities of Samarkand and Bukhara, considered a significant part of Islamic civilization that encompasses Islamic culture and civilization in the region, especially Central Asia.
