The Hajj operations for the year 1446 AH are being conducted under the direct supervision of Sheikh al-Hadith Dr. Noor Mohammad Saqib, the Minister of MOHIA.

Flights are scheduled from three main zones across the country, ensuring timely transportation of pilgrims to the holy cities. Minister Saqib has emphasized the importance of providing comprehensive services to Afghan pilgrims, both domestically and in Saudi Arabia. He has instructed all relevant committees—including those responsible for accommodation, nutrition, health, transportation, and religious rites—to utilize all available resources to facilitate a smooth and spiritually enriching pilgrimage experience.

Out of the allocated 30,000 Hajj slots for Afghanistan, approximately half (14,524 pilgrims) have already been transported to Saudi Arabia through 46 flights operated by Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air. Additionally, the first flight from the central zone, carrying 346 pilgrims from various districts of Kabul province, has successfully departed from Kabul International Airport to Jeddah.

The Ministry of MOHIA has made extensive arrangements to ensure the well-being of the pilgrims, including provisions for accommodation, health services, and transportation in both Medina and Mecca. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to enhance the overall Hajj experience for Afghan pilgrims.
