Monday, 4 Muharram 1447 Hijri Qamari, corresponding to 9 Sawr 1404 Hijri Shamsi

The last group of pilgrims returned from Mecca today, departing from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and arriving at Kabul International Airport.

The Ministry of MOHIA transported 30,000 Afghan pilgrims to the Two Holy Sanctuaries in 97 flights. Out of this total, 15,000 pilgrims were initially sent to Madinah, and another 15,000 were transported to Mecca via Jeddah Airport.

After completing the Hajj rituals, the pilgrims who had arrived in Mecca via Jeddah were transferred to Madinah, while those who had originally gone to Madinah returned to Afghanistan via Mecca.

It is worth noting that the process of returning Afghan pilgrims from Mecca has been completed, while the return flights from Madinah to Afghanistan are still ongoing as scheduled.
