Foundation Stone Laid for a Mosque in the Compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs

27 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH – Corresponding to 4 Saur 1404 SH
Based on a directive from the Amir al-Mu’minin of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, may Allah protect him, the foundation stone for the construction of a mosque in the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs was laid. The project is funded through the development budget of the Ministry of MOHIA.
A special ceremony was held for this occasion, attended by Sheikh Mawlawi Azizurrahman Mansoor, Deputy Minister for Mysticism and Religious Sites; Sheikh Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of the Administrative Affairs Authority; and several officials and staff members from both institutions.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Mawlawi Hamdullah Akhundzada, Director General of Endowments at the Ministry, shared detailed information regarding the mosque's construction.
Following that, the Deputy Minister delivered a comprehensive speech, emphasizing the importance and virtue of mosque construction. Mr. Mansoor stated that mosques are not only places of worship but also serve as centers for religious education, spiritual development, and strengthening social unity.
The Director General of Administrative Affairs thanked the Amir al-Mu’minin for his guidance in initiating the project and expressed appreciation for the cooperation and efforts of the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments.

The foundation stone for the grand mosque’s mihrab was officially laid in the courtyard of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs by the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments.
