Deputy Minister of MOHIA Meets Turkish Religious Scholars in Kabul

Sheikh Mawlawi Azizurrahman Mansoor, Deputy Minister for Mysticism and the Regulation of Religious Places at the Ministry of MOHIA, met with Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Varol, Deputy Head of the Union of Madrasas and Religious Scholars of Turkey, and his accompanying delegation in his office.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized expanding religious, cultural, and educational cooperation, training scholars, and especially sharing experiences related to Hajj and Umrah affairs.
At the start of the meeting, Sheikh Mawlawi Azizurrahman Mansoor welcomed the delegation of Turkish scholars and stated that the visit of high-ranking Turkish religious scholars to Afghanistan reflects the ongoing engagement and cooperation with the Islamic Emirate. He stressed the importance of such meetings for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, the strengthening of religious institutions, coordination among scholars, and the exchange of experiences in Hajj affairs.
Following that, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Varol, who led the delegation, thanked the Ministry of MOHIA for the warm reception. He praised the recent progress of the Islamic Emirate in preserving religious values and said that Afghanistan and Turkey share deep Islamic, religious, and cultural ties. He also emphasized Turkey’s readiness to share its religious, educational, and social experiences with the Ministry to further strengthen those ties.
